Frame drops in Project Brutality on pc, but not on d-touch.. Post by SpencerSDH » Thu Feb 18, 2016 17:59 I'm getting massive crippling frame drops whenever I fire guns with tons of effects. it doesn't seem like a performance issue, as the game never loses frames outside of these occurrences.

I chose not to silence it for the precise reason that it's such a frequent mistake to pass floating point ranges to the integer random function and getting an integer instead of the intended floating point value back. Names project brutality 2.03.pk3 Updated on February 22, 2017 to match Brutal Guncaster's stuff and things! Now based on Project Brutality 3.0! Updated on February 26, 2017, rebuilt almost from the ground up entirely. There MAY be some bugs but I've spent the better part of the last 3 or 4 days trying to make sure there are none.

Fearrific is an addon for the famous Project Brutality, a mod for the even more famous Brutal Doom. The purpose of the addon is to add more atmosphere by replacing lots of sounds as well as changing some stuff like sprites,brightmaps,weapons,monsters and music to give Doom a scary atmosphere without touching the run&gun gameplay at all.

But then again, Project Brutality allows players to keep or remove as many of these modifications as they want, so I can't really complain about these behavioral changes potentially causing levels that weren't designed with them in mind to turn to pure bullshit.
